We arrived home last Friday and what a great time we had. It was our first trip as DVC owners and it was realized by us the benefits of ownership. We own at animal kingdom lodge but decided to stay at old key west because we heard it wasn't as busy and there are bigger rooms there. We arrived and were immediately welcomed at check-in. It was a bit busy so someone at the concierge desk helped us so we wouldn't have to wait in line. There was a bit of an issue since we were staying in a studio for two days and then moving to a one bedroom for the rest of our stay. The young lady helping us couldn't seem to find our reservation for the one bedroom. There was a little bit of stress there but she went for help and all was well. We found our studio and it was huge. I had looked at the tours on you tube but nothing prepares you for actually being in the room. We were right across the road from a quiet pool which was deserted for the first couple of days (cause of the rain) but that suited us just fine. Hey if it's going to rain and if you are already getting wet you might as well use the pool and hot tub!!
