Just checked out the 2013 dining brochure And it clearly states " quick service credits may not be used for snacks." - maybe this is old news, but we did this last Febuary with no problem. There goes our money saving way of breakfast.

How much do you normally eat for breakfast? Since a granola bar and (instant) coffee last me until lunch, I bring a box of each on my trip and stash them in the room. Under $5 total from Trader Joe's.

We usually can share a quick service meal esp at places like Flame Tree BBQ w the chicken- so we have plenty of quick service meals. Hubby uses up most all the snacks on Mickey bars!!

Haha! I agree, Flame Tree is easy to share. I've shared the chicken and ribs combo with someone before and had more than enough to eat.

Last year was our first time having it, and from now on... will continue! That place is the best place for bang for your buck!

I checked with Disney recently about using a counter service credit for multiple snacks and they replied, "Generally, meal and snack entitlements on the meal plan are not able to be exchanged for other meals and snacks. However, a table service meal MAY be used for a quick service meal, and a quick serveice meal MAY be used for 1 snack. If you wish to use a quick service meal for multiple snacks, this must be discussed with the restaurant or food stand at the time of purchase. Please know, it is up to the location, as items offered do vary." This was from the WDW Online Communications person on August 11, 2012.
