Tell me What You Love About Raglan Road!

We've got Raglan Road reservations for February and I am *SO* excited to finally get to spend a night there.

Tell me what you love best about Raglan!

The band that plays after dinner is over is great.

I second these sentiments...especially the bread and butter pudding!!! Seriously amazing Smile Also, each night I believe they have a different "chef's special" pie and that is what I always order (have had both the chicken and mushroom as well as the lamb...both SUPER good).

Raglan Road is one of my faves!!

Dinner is fabulous because of the band and dancers but it is also a very nice stop for a TS lunch. Several years ago, we happened up on it at lunch time and walked right in. (probably not possible now) The food is fabulous. The bangers and mash are excellent.

How do they run the band and dancers? Do they alternate? Run every hour on the hour?

Dancers are during dinner service (with breaks, of course). The band plays after dinner service is over and it's just drinks and pub grub in the bar area. But I recommend either making a late reservation and staying for the band or returning after dinner service is over to see the band. When we were there, dinner ended and the band started playing at 11:00.

Maybe we'll head over there on our arrival night for the band, on our last night we have a dinner reservation around 6pm so we should be able to catch the dancers?

Last time I was there, both the dancers and band did performances during dinner. I love the entertainment and service is great.

That's cool. I never saw the band the one time we had dinner there. Maybe we just didn't stay long enough.
