Typhoon Lagoon closed!? ARGH!

Crap!

Typhoon Lagoon literally closes ONE day before we arrive for our Oct 28 - Nov 6 trip. The wife and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the water parks. She is going to be so bummed!

The worst part is, I am privy to the fact that both water parks have long annual closures for their scheduled rehabs. I had done my research and found that TL usually closes on Nov 1st, leaving us 4 days to get over there.

Blizzard Beach is our favorite of the two, but TL has some amazing slides, pools, shark snorkeling, and beautiful white sand to relax on. We loved the couples tube rides as well. Crapola!

I think I would prefer Typhoon Lagoon as well. Sorry to hear you have to change your plans!

The sad part is I don't think we can/will change our plans.

A.) I think we'd be shooting ourselves in foot to change our 9 day trip to span two weekends instead of just one. The F&W crowds get heavy on weekends as they draw many locals.

B.) Our flights were purchased with citibank debit card points, so I think we'd being paying a heavy penalty if we tried to change those.

OH WELL! Lesson Learned for our next trip. Double confirm water park closures before booking!!!
