**UPDATED***Only 77 more days to go....hurry up already!!!

Only 77 more days to go!! You guys have NO IDEA how anxious and excited I am.... wait! what am I talking about?? Of course you do!!

I've taken a break the past month or so in my planning (that I had been doing ALL DAY every day at work! haha) and now I'm ready and back in full force... but I've looked at every square inch of any disney website I can find, read a lot of books, and I dont think there is much more I could do to be prepared for this trip... and I obviously can't pack now! haha!

how do you all pass the time before a trip to the world? On one had it is flying by, and on another I feel like it will NEVER get here...

77 more days... 77 more days... 77 more days...

Maybe you can do a countdown movie night every week! Do you like Disney movies - like classic animated and maybe the live action ones too, like Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Pete's Dragon, Mary Poppins, etc? Maybe you can pick one and have a stay in "date night" once a week, and do some special snacks or meals. You could even make a Disney recipe maybe. I know it's tough, but enjoy this awesome anticipation! It all goes by so fast, and this is part of the fun! Good luck, and let us know how you decide to pass the time!

Whoo hoo! I love it when I'm paid off! I always try to have everything taken care of before we go so that I don't hav eto deal with the bills afterwards.

I have 47 days until I'm down for Princess 1/2 Marathon weekend! However, I am nowhere near paid off. sad

So.. here's the plan for our trip... still have a few holes.. tips? suggestions? comments..... (all my ADR's are booked) I know once we get there things will probably change, but I'd like to have somewhat of a plan.

And.. park hopping.. whats the best way to do it? Which parks are best to go to and from and which parks take to long to go to and from...

And any recommendations for counter service meals for a few of the lunches?

Sunday - arrive at WDW about 2pm
See a little downtown Disney, possible late lunch at Earl of Sandwich
Check into hotel, get settled
Dinner - O'Hana @ 8pm
Magic Kingdom EMH until 1 am

Monday - Back to Magic Kindgom/park hop suggestion?
Breakfast - 1900 Park Fare
Lunch - TBD
Dinner - Tony's Town Square

Tuesday - Universal/IOA

Wednesday - Epcot
Lunch - Biergarten
Dinner - Thinking Cantina De San Angel to watch the fireworks

Thursday - DHS
Lunch - Sci Fi
Dinner - 50's Prime Time

Friday - AK
Lunch - TBD
Dinner - Whispering Canyon

Saturday - Downtown Disney/ Leave for Home

We hop between the parks continuously. We have hit all four parks in the same day many times. Flexibility is key. If one park is really crowded (or the President is there) you just head to another park. Often times we'll start out in a park that doesn't have EMH, and then hop over to the EMH park and stay till closing.

Do you have your own set of wheels and are there little ones in your group? As my kids have gotten older our touring style has changed.

as of now, we have a rental car for sunday, monday, and tuesday (we are actually flying in on Friday and visiting with family for the weekend) but we might decide to keep it all week... and no kids, just me and the hubs =)

My suggestion for lunch on Friday at Animal Kingdom is Yak & Yeti counter service. I haven't eaten there but did eat at the table service restaurant really liked it.

Oooooh, I am so jealous! And I really liked the Flametree BBQ in AK. JUST WATCH WHERE YOU SIT! Almost got bombed by the pretty (evil) birds. Sit in the open! awesome

I am down to 65 days.
With all the snow here in the northwest, I am hoping the airport is open by then! laugh

I've done Yak and Yeti counter service. It's okay, but not great. I've never done their table service, but have read the rave reviews, and the counter service option doesn't live up to them.

extra socks and a different pair of shoes. Our problem, we brought one pair of gym shoes each and they rubbed and we got blisters. Bring extra socks to the parks, if your shoes get wet trust me you'll want to change your socks.

take a bag/backpack that you don't mind carrying around all day for Disney. Universal/IOA don't allow bags on rides however...
