I'm gonna continue this thread with my trip reports. Moderators, move it if necessary.

I'll just ramble and post some pics of my trip 8/30-9/8/2013 at BCV.

I'll start with dining since that's a subject near and dear to me. I also made a lot of ADRs for this trip.

Disney Dining
I've been disappointed by Disney "dining" many times. I even resorted to putting dining in quotation marks. Le Cell, Ohana, Kouzzina; they've all let me down in the past. But I am determined not to be a negative person. I know many of you love these establishments, so I want to put a positive spin on things.

I'm not going to dwell on my meal at BOG being perhaps the most forgettable $150 I've ever spent. I won't moan about the piece of wood I found in my burger at Yak and Yeti. I won't bore you with the fact that I found a hair deeply imbedded in a scoop of ice cream at Beaches and Cream. (They threw out an entire barrel of ice cream). And I won't whine about my $400 GF Intimate Dining experience being a complete mediocrity as far as the food was concerned.

I will be positive and tell you that the fried wontons dish at Yak & Yeti is probably the best desert in all the World. I'll tell you that I had a wonderful lunch at Kona Cafe. I can tell you that I had a fabulous meal at Sanaa while gazing at the animals. I had an antipasto and beer flight lunch at Tutto Gusto and enjoyed it immensely. Le Cellier totally redeemed itself in my book and not just because I was tipsy and met a charming couple at the next table who we chatted with the whole time. Hell, even Biergarten didn't suck. And Hollywood Brown Derby was OK.

Colonel, I totally understand where your coming from. Sorry to here your Intimate dining experience wasn't more enjoyable. I was really looking forward to maybe trying that at some point. Le Cellier, Ohana's they have let us down at times also.

One of the benefits of going in September is that it is pretty empty.

I'm sure everyone knows about the Alix & Ani fad by now. I bought Mrs. The Colonel the three cuz she is a good camper. Better than most souvenirs IMO.

Thi guy Is a dancer. I saw him cutting it up in WS a couple of times. He had interesting style of dancing to say the least. Saturday night he inspired a group of revelers to join him. Good fun. Then after dancing he would get back on his ECV and ride away.

I heard about Alex and Ani for the first time about 6 months ago when my friend got a bracelet for her birthday. Those are cute bracelets.
