I saved money both this year and last year by booking through AAA. Both trips were in November. It may be different if I went during another time of the year.
November is when we go and we were looking on there for park tickets and they were still cheaper through Disney. Lodging might be cheaper through triple a but we don't have to get lodging cause we are DVC members. Reading what I typed sounded very snotty but it wasn't meant to be... Lol
I didn't find it snotty at all. I booked the package through them (hotel, dining and tickets) so that's probably were my savings were. Do you get a discount on park tickets because you are DVC members?
We do for annual passes, but we didnt do them last year, and wont be doing them this year. But next year we will. We got into the habit of going before Thanksgiving because of how much nicer it is with crowds, but now we want to go after Thanksgiving next year so we can see the christmas lights. Soooooooooo... we try to go twice to get the most out of the pass, so next year we will go after thanksgiving then the year after... before thanksgiving if that makes sense? lol
