I almost lost my mind today.....

When i saw two things..one booking for 2012 has begun!! Which means I can put down my deposit for May 2012 and start paying it down...And...Art of Animation resort has started bookig today as well!!

I totally forgot about this resort...we were thinking of doing Port Orleans French Quarter but now we are reconsidering!! I am seriously going to have to do some price comparisions and think on this one!!!

I would love to do a mod because they are just so much nicer than the value but I think my DS who will be 2 almost 3 will LOVE the larger than life aspect of AoA. What would you do??

I say go for the AoA by far since you will have your little one. I remember when I was younger that we did Port Orleans and while I didnt hate it or anything... it just was boring to me. Now... I wasnt 3... lol... and it may not matter to your little one... but id say go with AoA. I know our little one is just in love with Disney right now, and we cant wait for November. She should be 2 and a half then. So yeah... long winded... AoA.

Woo! That means I can look at booking as well!

We're probably going to do a mod, but if we had a little one, we might seriously consider the AoA.

It looks like AoA open the week after we want to go..id consider delaying it but it looks like you can only book family suites..i am not sure if they have sold out already or what. We do not want to go any later than the first week in June.

jeff what dates are you looking at?? I think we will be there the last week in May.

I would say go with AOA...i think it would be really cool to stay at and your son would love it

We aren't sure when we are going for 2012, but I almost booked AOA yesterday! It looks like it will be amazing! Especially those suites!

It doesn't look like we will do AoA though--they won't be open when we plan to go..they open the week after and all their individual rooms are booked!

Anyone plan to pop over and check out AoA when it opens, even if you aren't staying there? The concept art is sooo cool - I can't wait to see it!

We plan on renting points, but I still want to check hotel prices, you just never know. I've tried the site 3 times now for Dec 1-8, 2012 and get no availability for all resort classes. Am I still to far out?

I thought if 2012 was up, all of 2012 was up?

That is weird..I tought it was up too..maybe because it is December, who ows.

Lizzy..I think we are leaning towards POFQ but I am not sold yet. The updated rooms look so classy!!

No, that is going to be POR..it would have made more sense to have them at POFQ since they are Princess Tiana inspired..but she um, is from New Orleans...who knows. Anyway..these are the new rooms..

I love POR and every time we have stayed there it has been awesome but..we have always stayed in the mansion rooms and I am NOT a fan of Alligator Bayou..I have seen them before..I don't know why I have such an aversion to Alligator Bayou..I just do! Ha!
