I've never had a cupcake at Disney yet, but I think I might have to do the Cupcake Crawl when I'm there in September. They just look soooooo good. The ones from Starring Rolls and Boardwalk Bakery, especially. muchlove

We had our first Disney cupcakes during our recent New Year's trip. We had the Peppermint Cupcake (Boardwalk Bakery), the Hidden Mickey Cupcake (Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Tree), Gingerbread Cupcake (DHS-Backlot Express). My favorite, based on taste, of the three was the Gingerbread Cupcake but the Peppermint was close. My favorite for the surprise factor was the Hidden Mickey Cupcake.

I've had exactly one cupcake at WDW, and it was....ehhhh. I'm just not a big cupcake fan. But if I happen to stumble across a carrot cake cupcake at just the right moment, I might give it another try.

Only ever had one cupcake in WDW and it was the Butterfinger from Starring Rolls, it was delish and I am definitely going to blow my wheat free low carb diet on a few come October!

What I really fancy trying though are the sweet/savoury ones from watching cupcake competitions on TV, not sure if there are any in WDW, but the ones with bacon and salted caramel etc appeal to me. Will have to google that WDW cupcake chart laugh

While hubby tries all the beers around the world, me and the kids can work through the cupcakes...

I admit that I overlook cupcakes because of the wide array of sweets everywhere!
But in terms of cupcakes, the butterfinger cupcake tops my bucket list for those. I mean, just at look these pics:

And why stop there? There's a lot to choose from and if you're bold enough for the cupcake crawl, well, best of luck and may your stomach be happy. biggrin

You're doing so much walking most of the time anyway that there might as well not be any calories. If anything, you need to eat MORE to balance out the extra exercise! biggrin

I have read that there will be a bacon cupcake at F&G so hoping there will be one to try at F&W too, though might just look for a recipe and see if I can make some

Bacon & maple syrup pancakes are pretty popular, not really any different to having sweet pancakes with bacon & syrup for brekkie. It's like salted caramel, mixing sweet & salty flavours.

Haggis cupcakes, let me get back to you on that one, I love haggis!

I use to love the peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes but now I can't eat them anymore (gluten free). So we get our cupcakes from Baby Cakes at Downtown Disney. I like the lemon ones best. They have a variety of allergy free treats and cakes, even doughnuts.

We are interested in trying here next trip and was wondering how they tasted compared to normal cupcakes ?
