Jafar's profile on the Maharaja Jungle Trek. I think the highlight was people stopping to stare, trying to figure out what we were taking pics of!!! Lol, we overheard people saying "what are we looking at?"

Is that really Jafar's profile--did they make it that way?!? I've never seen that! Learning so much...

Now, when were you at AK at sunrise? Such a cool pic!!!

I think this is my favorite photo from our trip. It was our first morning, we had coffee and english muffins on our deck at SSR and watched the sunrise over the LBV Golf Course and the main buildings at SSR. This view is through the cutout on the side of our deck...priceless!

Wow! I think I feel the presence of God at SSR wink You really should market this to an inspirational greeting card company--it's gorgeous.

That's at the Mr. Toad ride at Disneyland.

Jafar's profile was put there on purpose. Andrew had heard about it, but we had to ask a CM to point it out because you have to turn all the way around to see it, but it's pretty darn cool!

As far as "sunrise" at AK, I meant SUNSET! Oops! Lol...off to fix that post! laugh

We can start the "What are they taking photos of?"- game. Pick a random thing and see if you can get other people taking pictures of it without knowing why.

Great shot! That spot on the ride always makes me happy (unless, of course, I just got doused by the ginormous spray of water on the way up the hill). Interesting how the spires of the castle and Space Mountain kind of mimic each other.

Here's one of my "pretty" shots from POFQ a few years ago. It's things like this that really set Disney resorts apart from others.

It took me a long time to find Space Mountain but I was looking for it in the wrong place. Shows how well I know my Disney geography.

So ZapperZ: Did you take many photos on Splash Mountain? I always worry about my camera getting wet.

I actually have a lot of pictures of the whole ride, and even right almost at the top of the final plunge.

Do you just cover it up at the last minute?

I did that with my cargo pants pocket until a very unsavory water surge on the "Slippin Falls" soaked me and I decided I was pushing my luck. I never really had problems on the big drop, but the first one sometimes manages to get a water buildup where you don't get hit right after the fall but a little bit later a big gush of water goes over the side.

Oh, I usually hang on to my camera through most of the ride. I also plug the small "channel" up front in the middle of the vehicle right in between the two seats using paper napkins. If you are sitting right in front, that's where a lot of the water go through.

Anyway, here's the picture I took at the final plunge. Brightness balance is shot and focusing isn't good, since the camera came out of a semi-dark place and I already had it ready to shoot.

That's great! It's a shot you'd have to take lots of time to get perfect and then it would be a race as to whether you got the shot you wanted or lost/ruined your camera first. You have precarious shots on all the rides!

If they don't, I'll tell 'em.

That's Grizzly River Run at Disney's California Adventure.

This is great. You should turn this into a desktop theme.

Yeah, that's another cool one where people don't necessarily know it's Disney right away, but it's a gorgeous shot.

Now THAT'S a desktop background if I ever saw one!

I can just feel the warm Florida breeze as I stand under the Golf Ball for the first time in the trip and sigh contentedly that I'm finally in Epcot.

what's so interesting about the golf ball, is that even when you're looking at it in the real world, it looks ... fake? it looks kind of surreal even right there, and even more so in pictures.
