Fantastic picture, Zapperz; how'd you get it to come out so well when it's SO dark in there? (And, yes, I found the hidden Mickey!)

That one was pointed out to me in my early visits. Maelstrom is such a fun ride.

That's a great pic! When we take stuff that we might not remember where it's from, we follow it up with a very obvious pic. I was going to guess Norway, but it could be Germany.

How were the crowds when you guys went?

No, I haven't.... but I never really looked at it that long. We always do that one when there's very little wait.

But I also had to say.. your pictures are absolutely amazing!!! Thanks for sharing them with us.

The trick here is to actually get quite close to the picture and then snap with with the flash on. I took this while standing right at the loading area, so I was close to that corner of the picture.

Thank you. I'll show you the Hidden Mickey, but in case there are people who want to look for it themselves, this is your SPOILER ALERT!

Look at the vikings in the boat. One of them is wearing a Mickey Ears hat! Smile

Haven't had fireworks picture in a while, so here's one. This is from HalloWishes during MNSSHP.

The smoke looks really cool and of course it's great timing on the shot.

I love that shot Z! It's not only a good fireworks shot, but for some reason it seems to exude "Halloween"

Welcome to the boards!!

What an amazing sunset! Thanks for posting it! (Does your name have anything to do with the shot? biggrin )

And how was your trip?

(Also, I noticed you had a bit of trouble posting the shot--I think what folks here tend to do is load their photos onto imageshack, photobucket, or some such, then do an image link to them)

I love this picture because it makes me smile every time I either see the picture, or walk past the sign.

Too bad they don't sell the sign. I would have bought a dozen!

That is actually along the short walkway to the entrance of World Showplace at World Showcase, Epcot.

This picture probably does not qualify as "artistic". Still, I did remember when I first saw this scene. I went "Oh my!" and immediately went for my camera! Smile

It's from the inside of the building that houses Company D, the merchandise store for cast members, at WDW. I have the privilege of going there now and then whenever I meet up with a few cast member friends.

I'm sure everyone has a snapshot of this, but this is my version.

Would be interesting to see how others took this.

Where is that store, Z? Just a backstage building, or in the casting building?

It is in a separate building that we got to by driving around the MK Resort area. Don't ask me how to get there because I have no idea. Smile I think physically, it is somewhere "behind" MK, but it's not something you walk to. There's Company D, and Property Control. Only a cast member can make the purchases now. It used to be that you can get in to Property Control if you are escorted by a cast member. I think that's no longer true.

I'm hoping to get back there on this June trip if I have the time.
