Your Second Pick Park?

Of the non-Disney parks, which is your favorite? It seems like a lot of folks really like Sea World. We like Islands of Adventure. Who's your second string pick?

Tough call, but I think Seaworld just nips it for me.

I will have to do the Kraken before I can decide. The main thing I miss at WDW is thrill rides and IofA's Dueling Dragons is the best for that for me.

I would have to agree with Tony and give the nod to Seaworld over Universal.

I hate the ocean and all things affiliated with it so seaworld justd oesn't do it for me. So I'd have to say Islands of Adventure. Hitting up the Harry Potter part this summer. I hope it's worth thr wait and anticipation!

The Harry Potter stuff may just change my mind once it's open.

Yeah that could really shift the balance of power. Of course it's SO anticipated I wonder if it can possibly live up to expectations.

We are VERY excited to see the Harry Potter stuff. I wonder if Disney realizes that everyone who usually spends a week in their parks is going to be spending five days in their parks and 2 days at Harry Potter for the next year or so!

Sea World definitely. Universal is just a theme park to me...I don't enjoy it at all. There is just something about the Disney magic...

I imagine that's one of the reasons all the discounts are still coming out even thought Disney's financial numbers are improving. They want people on THEIR property vs. Universal's property this fall.

That's a good theory. They're trying to steal Harry's thunder!

Maybe they've accepted that people will want to see WizWoHaPo and are trying to ensure it's not an either/or decision but that they can do both without stretching too much.

WizWoHaPo clapping That's like when they try to shorten the names of neighborhoods to make them seem more hip... like WaHi for Washington Heights in NYC biggrin
