5 Reasons To Love Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas

Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas are a spectacle of fun just outside of Epcot's International Gateway offering up a taste of early 19th century Americana. This Deluxe Resort is a charming nod to the eastern seaboard with plush rooms and a fantastic location. There's a lot to like about the Boardwalk, but here are 5 reasons we think you'll love this special Disney destination.

The Boardwalk

The most obvious reason to love this fun Disney Resort is its namesake Boardwalk! A fun dining an entertainment area just steps away from your hotel room, the seaside atmosphere is a real treat. From grabbing a Mickey Shaped Blueberry Muffin from the Bakery in the morning, to dancing the night away at the Atlantic Dance Hall this resort area has plenty of things to keep the whole family busy. No other Disney Resort has so many shopping and dining options all in one place.

The Theme Details

Every nook and cranny of Disney's Boardwalk Inn is decorated in charming details that transport guests back to the iconic bygone days when the eastern seaboard was bustling with people at the shore visiting carnivals and cafes. From the moment you arrive at the resort you'll be welcomed with and elaborate miniature carousel and the spectacular sculptural carousel horse chandelier that set a whimsical tone to be carried right through to your guest room.

Bellvue Lounge

One of my favorite spots to sit back and relax, the Bellevue Lounge is a cozy and comfortable nook. Decorated with period art and games, my kids love pulling out a game board and playing some checkers while stopping in for a quick Continental Breakfast, and I love sinking into the plush sofa with a nightcap before heading back to the room.

Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar

Call me crazy - but I just adore a dueling piano bar and I think you'll love this one too. The talented pianists on duty here can play just about anything you can come up with, so feel free to put in your song request no matter how obscure. One of the few truly late night spots at Walt Disney World, this 21 and over only club opens at 7:00pm and keeps the music coming until 2:00am.
