At Fort Wilderness Campground and Resorts guests can enjoy a relaxing 25 minute carriage ride through the Fort Wilderness grounds. From 6pm to 9:30pm carriages regularly depart from Crockett's Tavern at Pioneer Hall. It is $45 for a carriage ride and tickets are sold by the drivers (only cash or Disney guest room charge is accepted so come prepared!) However, you may make reservations by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. As with all things Disney, prices are subject to change.

Port Orleans Riverside Resort also offers 25 minute carriage rides throughout the resort grounds. Guests can find carriage drivers in front of the Boatwright's Dining Hall. As with the rides at Fort Wilderness rides are $45 and tickets are sold by the drivers (remember only cash or Disney guest room charge is accepted!) Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-PLAY and the carriage rides began at 6pm with the last one departing at 9:30pm.

Have you ever done a carriage ride at Disney? Is it worth it? Would you do it again?

Yes, DH and I took the carriage ride at POR last May and it was very relaxing except for the horrile humidity! It was awesome to get to see POFQ and more of the Sassagoula than we already had seen. I would do it again sometime I think!

I love the thought of doing this with my husband, it's always hard for me to find time to relax and go slow when we're at Disney!
