Disney's Magical Express: A Primer

The way the Disney's Magical Express service works is pretty simple. It's highly recommended that you book the Magical Express service at least 6 weeks ahead of time by visiting disneyworld.com or calling 407-W-DISNEY.

You'll supply your arriving and departing flight numbers, airlines and times, then you're sent an Airport Transportation Booklet containing info and your special luggage tags. Be sure to request extra if you'll be checking more than one bag per person " they send just one per person unless requested otherwise.

When you arrive at your airport to depart to Orlando, check your bags as normal with your airline, making sure that your luggage tags are in place.

Then when you arrive in Orlando, you can bypass the Baggage Claim completely and head straight for the Disney Airport Welcome Center, located on Level 1, B Side. If you're heading down the escalators, it will be to your right on the far end " just keep walking until you see cast members and other folks queueing up for their ride to their resort.

You'll be checked in and sent to the right line for your resort, then whisked onto a coach bus. A fun video featuring Disney characters is shown during the approximately 30-40 minute ride.

It's possible your bus could make up to 4 stops, but many buses make just one or two stops. Once you arrive at your resort, feel free to go ahead and check in, get settled in your room, and even head out to the parks. Your bags should be in your room by the time you arrive home. Nice, huh?

The departure process works much the same way. You'll be notified of your exact pick-up time and location the day before departure " it's usually about 2.5-3 hours before your departing flight. You can even check in for your flight, if your airline participates, at your resort using the Resort Airline Check-In service. The buses drop off at 4 different locations throughout the Orlando airport.

Hi Adrianne - You shouldn't have any problem, it will work the same, but you may want to call Magical Express just to make sure that they understand you will be departing from a different resort.
