Hot Tubbin’ at the WDW Resorts
Let's say that you really like to relax at the end of a long day of touring a Walt Disney World theme park. Doesn't a nice soothing dip in a hot tub, or spa, as some call it, sound like just the ticket?
Well, not all WDW resorts have hot tubs, and some have better hot tub situations than others. So if having a hot tub at your resort is important, then you'll need to stay at a deluxe or moderate WDW resort.
In the moderate resort category, Coronado Springs Resort wins out for one of the largest hot tubs on WDW property. Maybe it's because Coronado Springs is a convention hotel " but their hot tub can hold 22 people!
Caribbean Beach has two hot tubs can hold 14, while Port Orleans Resort gets the short end of the hot tub stick, with one that holds only 7 people.
The Grand Floridian Resort has one hot tub near the Courtyard Pool, and the Boardwalk Inn ha a hot tub at the Luna Park pool area. Unfortunately, the Polynesian Resort does not have a hot tub at their pool area. But if you're a Poly guest, you can head over to the Grand Floridian to make use of their hot tub facilities.
But the resort that may take the hot tub crown is the Yacht Club and Beach Club. In the WDWFG forums, WDWFG forum user SpaceAce reports on the Hot Tubbin' at the Resorts topic thread that each of the pools at the Yacht Club and Beach Club has a hot tub " about 5 total between the two resorts. He also mentions that the workout room there has a huge hot tub that no one seems to know about. Score!
What's your hot tub experience been like at the WDW resorts? Are they a must-have for you, or are you happy with a Jacuzzi tub in your room or a regular old pool? Comment below and share your thoughts!
