Journey To Never Land On Peter Pan's Flight

Tucked away in a corner of the Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland is your chance to never grow old. Guests are invited to climb aboard a pirate ship of their very own and with a sprinkle of pixie dust are off on a magical Peter Pan's Flight. The journey begins in the Darling Family nursery with siblings Wendy, Michael, and John. Guests hear the impish Peter encouraging them to leave their mundane cares behind - "Come on, everybody! Here we go!"

The ships take flight up through the night sky and soar high above a miniature London that twinkles and glitters in the dark. It's a piece of fantasy that is one of my most cherished childhood memories. Peter Pan's Flight is what a Disney dark ride is supposed to be - a simple and elegant storytelling expressed with a creative magic that only Imagineers could come up with. "Think of the happiest things, it's the same as having wings."

Once the ships arrive in Never Land they sail past the Mermaid Lagoon and Lost Boy camp, then swoop down past Skull Rock and into the Pirate Cove. Guests encounter the dastardly Captain Hook embattled in a swashbuckling duel. Will Peter save Wendy from the pirate crew? Will Captain Hook be vanquished into the Lagoon to the waiting croc? "Think of all the joy you'll find."

Though this attraction is more than 40 years old, it still brings joy to everyone who rides. That is to everyone who is willing to wait the queue, because Peter Pan's Flight often has one of the longer waits of all the classic Fantasyland rides. Don't worry though, guests who want to take flight can either schedule a FastPass+, or visit the attraction early in the day.

Thanks so much to Loren Javier, Carlos, and Havoc315 for sharing their images of Peter Pan with us. "You can fly, You can fly, You can fly!"

PETER PAN, SCROOGE McDUCK, MICKEY & CAPTAIN HOOK are my favorite characters. I did play Captain Hook in a skating show a million years ago. David Bryant

OH MY!! So happy to hear WDW has added Peter Pan! I am a Disney land/California kid through & through, know Disneyland like the lines on my hand. The only thing that would make WDW even better for me would be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!

This is one of the best rides at Disney World. Somehow it captures your heart, and you just want to come back again and again.

OH MY!! So happy to hear WDW has added Peter Pan! I am a Disneyland/California kid through & through, know Disnyland like the lines on my hand. WDW not having Peter Pan was always a big let down for me! Now the only thing that would make WDW so much more awesome would be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!!

Um.... WDW has had PP for as long as I have been alive. The ride is okay to me, but it about three minutes long, tops. Not worth it for me if there is any line, much less the usually hour plus line.
