Send Them A Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts

I love old fashioned correspondence, for me there's nothing quite like sitting down at breakfast to compose some charming postcards to my friends and family. It's so much better than just checking in on facebook. Every now and then, I like to send my loved ones something truly unique from my travels. Something like a coconut.

Coconut Postcards are is painted on one side with brightly colored art stating 'Greetings from Walt Disney World' and the other side leaves a small space for the address and a personal message. I find the best results in sending a message home on one of these beauties, be sure to bring along a sharpie to write with.

On our last trip we sent a bunch of coconuts home nuts from Bou-tiki at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This unique form of "tree mail" has been spotted for sale at other tropical venues around Walt Disney World as well; like the Calypso Trading Post at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and the Pirate's Bazaar outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Coconuts for post have been drained of their milk, to ensure safe travels and long term storage. They can be delivered anywhere in the United States. Priority mail postage is included in the price of the coconut and the total comes to about $22.56. Though as with all things Disney prices are subject to change without notice.

Do you have someone on your souvenir list that would love to get one of these unique post cards from Walt Disney World? You can be sure that this is one gift they won't soon forget.
