Ever wonder what it would be like to watch the Wishes fireworks spectacular in the Magic Kingdom without the crowds? How about with a guaranteed seat and an all you care to eat dessert buffet? Well Iive got good news for you. The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party gives you just that!
The party is held in the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant's covered patio outdoor seating area, located just off Main Street between the Plaza restaurant and the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor attraction. The setting provides a great view of Wishes and an even better view of Tinkerbell's flight. She flies right over you! While some tables do provide a slightly better view than others, you are permitted to stand at the front. On the night we attended, our table was at the front with a great view. People did stand along the railing in front of us, however, our view was never obstructed by anyone (even though we were sitting).
Obviously, watching the fireworks is one of the main reasons for attending. But lets not forget the other main reason, the DESSERTS! The desserts are all you care to eat served buffet style. There is a huge variety of tasty sweets and treats, as well as hot and cold beverages. Cupcakes, brownies, cookies, crispy rice treats, fruit and an ice cream bar are just a few examples of what you can expect. Everything we had was delicious. And believe me, we ate our fair share. They also keep the buffet open during the fireworks and for a short time afterwards to ensure everyone gets their fill.
Advance reservations are strongly recommended. This event is popular and regularly sells out. You can book your reservations online using the Walt Disney World website or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). According to the Disney website, reservations can be made up 180 days in advance. As of July 5th, 2015, a new version of this event will begin, you can read about the enhancements on the Disney Food Blog. It will contain most of the same features along with some new exciting enhancements (such as new menu additions) and will be renamed the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party. Prices are $49 per adult and $29 per child at time of publication, and are subject to change.

We did it one and it was quite enjoyable. Nice to be able to sit and enjoy fireworks without all the stress of the crowds. The desserts were great too!

This was our family's favorite experience of our trip. We almost cancelled our reservation and we are so glad we did not. My mom says this is a must-do for all future trips - even with the price increase. As a person with knee problems - after walking all day in the park she loves that she can sit down and see the fireworks (oh and the chocolate dipped strawberries as well;))
