Celebrate Earth Day and other Fun Conservation Events at Animal Kingdom

While across America most people will be able to celebrate Earth Day with Disney Nature's new film "Chimpanzee" those folks headed to Disney's Animal Kingdom on April 13th and 22nd will also be able to honor our planet. The Disney Parks Blog fills us in on all the fun filled festivities:

Upcoming 2012 wildlife conservation events at Disney's Animal Kingdom (as always, dates subject to change):

May 12: International Migratory Bird Day
May 23: World Turtle Day
June 6: Pollinator Day
August: Cotton-Top Tamarin Month
Sept. 5: International Vulture Awareness Day
Sept. 26: Elephant Awareness Day
Oct. 31: Bat Day

What do you think of Disney Animal Kingdom's commitment to conservation? Do you buy a conservation button when you're in the park? Will you be heading to Animal Kingdom to celebrate any of these conservation events? Let me know!

We won't be there to celebrate any of these but we do buy the conservation buttons when we are there and have been enjoying the Disney Nature movies. I think it's awesome that they make the conservation efforts.
