Classic Disney Channel Programs

Does anyone miss the old shows that the Disney Channel used to air? My favorite was "ROAD TO AVONLEA/AVONLEA". I was a HUGE "Anne of Green Gables" and "Anne of Avonlea" fan. Loved the families and characters featured in this show, strong family ties and how a community comes together. Very sweet. I still miss Sunday nights on ABC "The Wonderful World of Disney" too. Always enjoyed that as a kid.

I loved Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights. Sometimes I wish it was back on because there really isn't anything worth watching except in January when Downton Abbey comes back on! waiting

"Wonderful World of Disney" started my Disney obsession! I loved the cartoons and films they showed but always looked forward to the weeks when they would show a bit of the park, and dream of the day that I could visit "The Happiest Land of Them All"! It's also the reason that I adore the old time rides like the Tiki Room and Jungle Cruise... they remind me so much of the Disneyland I dreamed of visiting when I was little muchlove
