Are you able to use all of disney transportation if not staying on property. The reason I ask is the day we go to animal kingdom the park closes at 5 and our shuttle doesnt come till 645 or 845. I was thinking of trying to get down to DTD and check out Earl's for dinner and then coming back and meeting our shuttle. Is that possible?

Yes! You can! And just to make sure I was not making that up, I checked the Mom's panel and found this question and answer:

The buses don't run between the parks and DTD. If you click on the link below, you can get the best route.

From what I understand, the buses run up to an hour after park closing. I'm not sure how it works for ADRs later in the afternoon. Can your shuttle pick you up at DTD so you don't have to worry about getting back to AK?
Hi all I dont have to go back to AK for the shuttle it picks us up at epcot transportation. I will check out if its easy to do that if not we will probably just take a taxi back to the hotel. Thanks
