I am curious to know, Dole Whip Float vs just a Dole Whip? I look forward to trying my first ever Dole Whip in December. Is the float too much pineapple? Curiouser and Curiouser, as if there can be such a thing....

I tried my first straight-up Dole Whip last year and have never tried the float. Next time, I'm getting the float. The ice cream is good, but nothing I would write home about, so I figure it must be the float everyone is raving about.

I love the float, that is actually the only way I have had it. I'm a big pineapple fan so it doesn't seem like to much to me.

I prefer just straight Dole Whip. My husband called the Float "Pineapple Overload", he loved it.

I always get the Dole Whip. It's so refreshing on a hot day. I haven't tried the float yet.

I have never had Dole Whip and honestly I have never even heard of it until I joined here. I am super excited to try it now! That and the turkey leg are on my "Must Try" list!!

Oh so happy I found this thread before your trip! (hopefully you'll see this) I could write poems to the Dole Whip Float! 
I am not usually a fan of pineapple, but OH! the Dole Whip! It's heaven! Unless they've changed since 2010, at Aloha Isle in Adventureland you can get either Vanilla, Orange or Pineapple (Dole Whip) soft serve in the float made with pineapple juice. I've tried all three! 
Not being a big fan of pineapple, as I said, the float with vanilla soft serve was my favorite. It tasted like a pineapple creamcicle The orange soft serve was a great combo, very tropically-citrusy. And the traditional with the Dole Whip was super tasty and very pineapple-y but not too much!

I once had the pleasure of having Dole Whip away from Disney. 
They had it at the Interior Provincial exhibition in Armstrong BC a few years ago (a really big country fair). They did not have the pineapple 
, just Vanilla, Chocolate & orange. But I remember being super excited that it was a dole booth.

LoL... I'm a purist, in my family Dole Whip ONLY comes in pineapple... all the other flavors are "fake" and don't count as Dole Whip. I've yelled at my children for daring to challenge me on that one. 
Dole Whip = Pineapple.
Anything else is just soft serve.

I am a pineapple purist too, but having had issues with dairy for half my life it was exciting to be able to have it away from Disney.
I am a soft serve purist, I have not tried the float yet, perhaps the next trip.

I just checked again on DFB.com and it is no longer on the site. It was a challenge to see how high you can make your Dole Whip. Not sure if it was a DFB.com thing - not necessarily a WDW sponsored event????
