So, I didn't get the chance to go to the Ghirardelli shop in DTD while on our trip to WDW so I was super excited when they did a soft opening while I was visiting the park on June 1st, the shop is permanently open now. The shop was very nice on the inside, there was one greeter handing out free chocolate squares (caramel that day) and another greeter who asked if you were ready to order and directed you to a cashier. I didn't intend to order but she was super polite when I asked if I could walk around and take some photos.

I didn't get as many shots as I would have liked, the place was very busy. There were lots of displays with pre-packaged chocolates and you could see through the glass where workers were mixing chocolate and making the waffle cones. *drools*
In the end my friend ordered a white chocolate mocha blended drink and I bought a chocolate covered strawberry. Both were sooooo good. I can't wait to go back!

So I am assuming the one in WDW is fairly similar, being the same company and all, haha. I am just really happy we got one. With this AND the new Starbucks on Buena Vista Street I will be one happy girl in DCA, LoL!
