Hi Everyone!

I have been reading this site for awhile, and finally decided to de-lurk! I am a graduate student living in NYC, but from the Philadelphia area (Go phillies!). My whole family is Disney-obsessed, we have had the DVC for several years now and it is the best thing! We usually go once a year, but weren't planning to go again until March. However, my younger brother just just received a professional internship at Disney World starting in mid-August! We decided to schedule a last minute trip to drive down with him!

Anyway, looking forward to talking with some other Disney fans!!

Thanks everyone for the welcomes!

Kris, my home resort is Saratoga Springs. The first time we stayed there was actually just our last trip! Our favorite resort is the Boardwalk and we usually stay there. This trip, we are splitting our time between there and Saratoga. We really enjoyed being able to take a boat to Downtown Disney and spend some time shopping and eating! We often don't get there when we stay at Boardwalk.

My favorite park is probably the Studios-I love the Old Hollywood theming. And my favorite ride is most definitely the Tower of Terror. As far as dining, I have SO many favorites, it is hard to choose! We love to eat at the Flying Fish our first night and I really enjoy Chefs de France for lunch. I also love having a drink at the Rose and Crown-I studied in London for a semester and it reminds me of being back there!

I love Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, hence the name!

I have never seen the fireworks from there, getting an ADR for Illuminations time has always been tough! I imagine it is a gorgeous view!

Since it was a last minute trip, it was harder to plan as well as I like to. But, I just read that the Top of the World Lounge is open to all DVC members for the rest of the summer! Since we've never stayed at Bay Lake, I've never been able to go, so that is one thing I am really excited about!

The view from Bay Lake Tower (BLT, I love that name) is really pretty cool. I understand that I have joined this conversation very late, but if you haven't been yet, try to get to Top of the World a good while before the fireworks start. It is nice and quiet and the view is amazing!
If you are already back, I hope you had an amazing trip and tell us about it soon!
