From all of the sources, and how detailed everything has been to even ESPN moving him from calling the Ohio State/Michigan game this Saturday its pointing to truth. The only denial has been from him this morning, but he said he wanted to get through Thanksgiving first. So it wasn't an out right denial either. The rumor is it will be announced officially after the game on Saturday, and he should be introduced as Ohio States head football coach for the Ohio State/Duke basketball game next week.

Well, if it plays out, congratulations! He's a pretty great guy from what I gather. He managed to get me to dislike the Gators less, which is saying something

Sorry, I'm a Gamecock fan so I am not thrilled with Urban Meyer...but I will be thrilled with him when he leaves!! As long as Spurrier doesn't head back to Florida I'll be OK!

LOLOLOL on both counts....I lived in Georgia for five years, and that's where the college football bug bit But I cheer for WV as well. In fact, when WVU and UGA played in the Sugar Bowl a few years back, I cheered for WVU. And Woot! They won! And the game was in ATLANTA! (It was the year of Katrina, and it was moved from New Orleans to ATL) That was something special.

I saw! Thought of you immediately! My friend Robin and I were talking about it the other day (she's a big OSU fan) - actually, we were watching the WVU-Pitt game at the time (woot! way to go 'eers!) I said, "Aren't you happy about it?" And she said, "No, he's a quitter." Oof. She has a point. It was crazy down here when he did that little "I'm quitting but I'm not quitting, now I'm back and now I'm going" move.
But congrats! I'll watch the progress with interest.

I can easily see that. But the other outlook is... the guy won two national championships. Not many coaches can even claim one? I know he retired at first, and a second... but probably in the back of his mind he thought he had done everything in a short period of time. What more could I do? So he retires. Goes to ESPN... crap happens at OSU. His home. Offer him the job, and God love him... after the tat scandal.... he of all coaches wants to take our program on.
Guess thats where im at... but I can easily see both sides of it.

It was a combination of injuries in the first 15 games, and youngins trying to fill in and just couldn't handle it. Now were playing pretty solid, but I don't know if its enough to get out of the hole we created.
And thanks about the pin boards! We got to put up our new one, but we have to buy another thing of cork and more fabric.... lol
