Longest Disney Trips

Jim was talking about his 20 day Disney trip and it got me wondering, what's everyone's longest time for a Disney trip. I think Zapperz said he did a two weeker where he did the first half in DL and the second half in WDW? I've stayed 12 nights in the Boardwalk villas (on rented points). What's you guys' record and was there any special occasion?

Ha! I just posted a question about long vs. short disney trips! Looks like Jim got us both thinking along the same lines.

To answer you question, we usually keep our trips to between 1 and 2 weeks. We "invent" special occasions on our trips because we love to celebrate, but we've never taken a long vacation just to commemorate something specific.

For reference:

1.) Jim talking about his Epic trip.
2.) ZapperZ DisneyLand/Disney World Crossover
3.) Long vs. Short Trips

P.S. I believe my longest Disney trip is 9 days, which I've done several times.

We've done 2 ten day trips. Once at PO-R and the other was at the Boardwalk for our 10th Anniversary

I love the Boardwalk. muchlove Did you guys do anything special to commemorate your anniversary?

I haven't had any really long trips--we cap it out at a week most of the time, but have combined that week with a leisurely road trip a couple of times.

Did the hurricane lead to low crowds the rest of the time?

It was the last 2 full days of our trip so when they finally reopened the parks it was slower but I couldn't really say how the crowds were after. It was at the middle of Sept before F &W started so the crowds were light to begin with.

That's great! If I'm going to be at WDW during a hurricane, I definitely want it to be when I'm staying Club Level.

Were you reimbursed for those days?

Our last trip was our record at 9 days. However, that was a really HOT week with our 4 last days topping out at 100 so we actually did less then previous trips.

Did you feel more relaxed as a result?

No, We had just came out of Indiana Winter and going from 60 to 100 was a bit too much. We could do at best 4 Hours outside before we had to retreat to the resort or other Ac'd resting spot and the heat kinda made us cranky. Im hoping for a cooler may this year, 90 I can handle.

It always frustrates me when I walk outside of the hotel and my glasses immediately fog up.

Where were you staying? Anywhere with some good shared rooms to hang out in?

the Very unshaded (But within my budget) Pop Century. And since it was just the two of us, no shared rooms.
