Pick Mase's Dinner at Disney!

Ok... Sitting here eating dinner and came up with an awesome thought! I want you guys to pick my dinner while at Disney! What I'll do is in this thread I will post where we will be eating. If I'm able to I'll try to post the menu. We ended up doing the dining plan. So that means you would pick an entree and dessert. If more than one person suggests the same thing then whoever is first shall win. I'm gonna try to collect a couple things and whoever picks what I choose I will send you something. I would love tons of participation in this because even though we will be there. I would like you guys to be part of this experience with us.

Any questions? Heads up for the first meal. Whispering Canyon. I know it's family style but you can still choose what I'll eat and I'll have Jess take a picture of me eating it and post it!

So there you have it! Starts Sunday night and this will be my way of a trip report for me!

Now I would have to try the Whiskey Maple-glazed Trout on a bed of Arugula-Frisee Salad. Dessert would have to be Apple-Caramel Pie - Fresh Granny Smith Apples, Sugar Cookie Crust, Streusel Topping, and Caramel Drizzle

I would be having the Pot Roast for diner and the Cheesecake for dessert.

I probably picked the Pot Roast because that is what I am making for our diner tonight.

I do not know Jeff, our Pot Roast Diner was YUMMY!

Think slow roasted Pot Roast with veggies, just like Mama use to make. Comfort food at its best.

Well... Right now I'd take anything. Our ADR was for 6:30 and it's now 6:52 and we had let them known that we have been here since 5:30 in hopes to get in earlier. Right now..... Not to happy.

Oh... Don't know if Jess mentioned on hers. We found out when we got to the airport that Brooke had to have a ticket. It was going to be $700 round trip for hers. Luckily they decided to honor the price we payed for ours.

Anyways. 6:54. Sitting down. No more choices. Lol

Tonight.... it turned out to be two winners!

First..... for the main course.....

Ended up with the Skillet! So Bella... you are the first!

Here is the rest of my silliness.... lol

Evan wanted water, and then our waiter... Gepetto kept forgetting, so he takes Evan back to the kitchen... about a minute later... he came out with this!

Ok... enough stalling. I did say two people won tonight. The second winner... foooooooooooooor dessert..............................

The Chocolate Cake! So Jeff wins for the dessert! Now... I haven't had it yet because I brought it back because I ate too much of the skillet. Which was what I was afraid to do... sooooooo... sometime tomorrow it will make a great snack... or breakfast! lol

UPDATE!

OR A MIDNIGHT SNACK!

Man it was goooooooood! Thank you Jeff!

Hub... it was real close. Reason I didn't was because Jess got it. Thought I would get a bite... but she never offered...... sigh..........

So there you go and thats how it will go for the next couple nights except for Friday night. Friday night will be a bit different because we will be eating at Boma. For Boma... since its buffet style... I'm going to let you guys pick the most weird thing possible I could try and eat. So be thinking about that for Friday.

So yup! Bella and Jeff! There ya go! For helping me I will get you some pins down here. If there is a specific idea of a pin you would like or if you want me to be random for ya... doesn't matter. Like I said... we have over 200 tradables we have brought down here, and ill hook peeps up for helping me decide dinner! So either PM or reply here what you guys would like, and ill need a mailing address too. That you can PM me.

So thats night #1! Will post Night #2 here in a minute!

Night #2 - Teppan Edo - Epcot

Reservations: 7:10pm

Entree/Main Course

Asakusa - Sirloin Steak and large shrimp
Ebi - Large Shrimp with seasonal vegetables with Udon noodles and steamed rice.
Filet Mignon - Tenderloin steak with seasonal vegetables, Udon noodles, and steamed rice.
Hotate (Picture) - Cold water sea scallops with seasonal vegetables Udon noodles, and steamed rice.
Nihonbashi - Sirloin steak and chicken breast with seasonal vegetables, Udon noodles, and steamed rice.
Tori - Chicken breast with seasonal vegetables, Udon noodles, and steamed rice.
Ueno - Chicken breast and large shrimp with seasonal vegetables, Udon noodles, and steamed rice.
Yasai - Seasonal vegetables
Yasi - Seasonal vegetables, Udon noodles, and steamed rice.

Dessert

Chocolate Ginger Cake - Chocolate ginger cake.
Green Tea Pudding - Green tea pudding.
Soft Served Ice Cream - Soft served ice cream.

Im pretty sure thats the current menu. There wasn't a menu like Whispering Canyon on Disney's site. This menu is from WDWInfo.

So there ya go. Again... first person to make the suggestion for the specific dinner gets to it first. Don't forget dessert as well. Plead your case on why I should choose it too. I loved how you guys did that for Whispering Canyon. I felt like an important politician! lol! Got till 7:10pm EST tomorrow! awesome

For dinner you should go with the Filet Mignon. For dessert I would have to say skip it there and go get one of those carmel apples from the carmel place.

I'm going with the Asakusa - I'm guessing the cut is a little bit bigger than the steak, AND you get shrimp! And I am putting oney on the chef doing something cool and fun with the shrimp on the grill.

For dessert, I'd say the soft serve ice cream - you'll be full from the steak & shrimp, but ther's always room for ice cream!

PS - YAY ME for the dessert at Whispering Canyon!!

If you happen to see any piratey pins, or any of the fab 4 (individual or group) character pins, or any theme park or ride specific. Or anything. Except Tinkerbell eek But you don't have to do anything - get more for the kiddos!

Having fun so far - hope you guys are too!

Mase,
I hope you think of us sitting at home eating leftovers tonight while you are eating that wonderful filet. When you cut into that apple tonight I so want a picture of the gooey carmel.
