That's a lovely box. Our crematory's standard container is a little pine box with a lock and hinges, but nowhere near as nice as your beautiful cherry box.

We keep our late kitties in picture frame urns that hold six kitties each; they cost extra but we really like them. Below are photos of the pine boxes (dogs) and the picture frames (cats).

I bury my kitties in the back garden and plant something beautiful where they are so I have a reminder and they continue to have life. I have a rather stunning bay tree for my Cleo. Mister's box is lovely.

Thanks to all. CCP, those pine boxes are every way just as nice as Misters box and those frames are unique. Never saw such a thing. Sally-Ann, I would love to bury Mister in our back yard, but our Homeowners association would have a fit.

Still crying for you, Judy and Mister. I know I felt a lot better when I got Willow's ashes back. It made me feel better just knowing she was home with me. I'm glad Mister is back home with you. Sending you lots of love!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's brought back memories of our similar loss, which I then turned into my happy memories. I hope you remember the sweet, happy memories of Mister.

The frames are made in the USA by Bradford Clocks, Ltd. of Weatherly, PA. Here's a link to the page that describes the picture frame urn we use. It shows just one pet in the frame, but since cats are small we manage to fit six per frame. I cut the mat that separates the photos myself.

That's great CCP, thanks. Yeah I was surprised at how heavy Misters ashes are.
