Reviews of Cinderella's Royal Table

I was reading the epic "Your Most Artistic Disney Photos" thread, and the pic of Wishes from the restaurant got me thinking, I think Cinderella's Royal Table is a bit underrated. I actually thought the food there was pretty good and the show is fine. I also had a very good experience with the characters there. While I wouldn't call it an "every trip" kind of restaurant, I'd certainly have to say I enjoyed it. What did you guys think?

I really enjoyed eating there. Although I like characters, what I enjoyed most was the chance to see the inside of the castle--walking up the spiral staircase, looking out the lead-glass windows, seeing the banners. It was really a lot of fun, and very much felt like you were in the middle of a Disney movie!

The food was fine--good prime rib--but nothing like what I've had at other top Disney restaurants. Probably not worth the price, but still better than standard. mickey

Cindy's is great. Just watching all the little princes and princesses having the time of thier lives is enjoyable. Plus, you can't see Suzie and Perla anywhere else, to my knowledge! silly

There's definitely a potential for too many little kids there, because of all the little princesses who want their picture with Cinderella, but I would recommend going at least once.

Has anyone had breakfast there? What's the atmosphere like?

I've done breakfast there.

If you arrive on time for your ADR, they will check you in, then put you in a waiting room on the ground floor of the castle. There Cinderella is available for photos.

It seems like forever till they usher you up to the dining room, but it's worth the wait. The stairway to the dining room is a spiral one, in one of the castle turrets. Once inside and ushered to your table, I think the first twenty minutes or so is spent in wide eyed amazement as the realization hits you that you are really where you are.

Breakfast is delivered by your server, and the characters make the rounds. From this point on it's pretty much the standard formula for any of WDW's character breakfast.

All in all I'd say it's a "worth doing" at least once in your lifetime.

Is breakfast served family style there, or do you order off menu?

It's family style. From Allearsnet, here's the menu

I agree, once was enough for me. The breakfast food was standard fare as well as the characters. I don't think the breakfast there is worth all the effort, especially if kids are not involved

Do you still have to set three alarms and have everyone in your family calling on different phones at exactly 7:00am EST to get a reservation at Cindy's for breakfast? Or has the combo of the Princesses at Akershus and 1900 Park Faire tempered that a bit?
