The stem comes down far enough I'm sure you could touch it.

MrHub and Scrappy, I've got a couple of issues with this new touching location. wink

1. I am not sure NHShorty and I can reach it.
2. First it was the Slipper, now it's the Rose, what is next, Chip's nose, Dale's tail, Roy's knee, the + terminal of the giant battery (it's really a cell, not a battery) in Buzz Lightyear.

Perhaps we should establish a touch-stone at each park. What would you choose?

Great idea Bill! A WDW for Grownups must do for each park....

So what is it for Epcot? Should we all take a swig of Beverly? yuck

If the rose is in Be Our Guest, does that mean you have to eat at BOG to get to the rose? If it does, we'll have to stick with the slipper.

Also, in terms of reaching it, I notice Scrappy is stretching a bit. I see that there's some stem below her hand, but still, if she's 5'5" or taller, I might not be able to reach it at all. So if I'm just touching the window below the rose, I hope that counts.

And HECK YES let's all take a swig of Beverly at Epcot! 'Cause that's my FAVORITE! And NO, I am NOT being sarcastic! biggrin

I'm not sure about lunch hours or in the early morning, but in June about 4pm they wouldn't even let me on the bridge to take a picture of the gargoyle. You would have thought that a King/Queen/President was in there. TWO layers of "security" between the check in area and the restaurant door. I was *so* upset that I couldn't even get pictures of the outside of the building, let alone touch a rose.

Yes unfortunately you do have to be in the restaurant to touch the rose. The stem comes down plenty far enough for anyone to touch it, it came down past Scrappy's elbow.

I don't have a problem with Beverly at all! Good stuff! awesome

We took pics touching the rose while we were in there for lunch. It is right next the rest rooms. I am 5'4" I couldn't touch the rose itself but the stem was doable. I am sure we can also accept just touching the mural, I mean we are all just friends here. muchlove
