Ok, here are some sights around the pin event inside World Showplace.

The entrance to Mickey's Circus.

But before you can get into the circus, you must buy your tickets. Stanford in line.

Once you are in, Mickey welcomes you.

Huge crowds everywhere standing in lines for various pin games.

A few shots of the theming they did for the event.

We return to the event today for the last day of the pin trading portion. Tonight, we have the event dessert reception. Hope the weather holds up.

During one of our stay for the pin event, we got a room facing the waterway that gets you to DHS. It also overlooked part of the Dolphin. I think that is my favorite view so far, even more so than the Boardwalk view that we got last year.

Zapper, I am having so much fun "with" you. I just LOVE the Boardwalk, and would love to stay there someday. The world of pin trading looks amazing too.

So sorry you are getting rained on...hopefully it will pass. Is it terribly hot there?

But I agree with Allie...onward for the sake of reporting.

We just got in to world showplace and they threw a surprise at us. They were giving wristbands for a "pin talk" at 1:00 pm that has limited seating. This was not in the schedule at all, so it got everyone intrigued.

Here are pin traders about to set up their stuff for the start of another full day of trading.

This is our lunch from yesterday at Sunshine Seasons.

This is the seared tuna with Asian noodles. I wish there were more tuna. It was delicious.

This is the roasted chicken with rice and beans.

For a side dish, we got some sushi rolls.

(burp) I was totally full by the end of it.

Just finished standing in line for an hour for a pin game. But the best part was that I was recognized by a member of this forum. I forgot her member name, but she recognized the dole whip vest that I was wearing and introduced herself to me. That's amazing and it is the best part about this whole crazy thing - meeting new people.

We are now in the theatre are of the event waiting anxiously for this wrist-banded "pin talk". I find it hard to believe that it will take place here because it is rather open, and there is no reason for the wrist band. So all of us are sitting around wondering how this will go. We will know soon enough..... in barely 5 minutes.

Ok, they just announced that it will be in the theatre, but why the wrist bands? That's what everyone here is wondering.

I have 2 wrist bands right now. The pink is for this pin talk, and the blue for the dessert party tonight.

They keep sliding down my wrist when I wash my hands.

They announced the theme for next year, the year 2013. It will be on 13 Villains. They are releasing the first pin for that theme today to those with wrist bands. We are in line now trying to get one.

We are back at World Showplace to wait for the start of the dessert party, where there will be more pin trading and games. We are just waiting for them to restart the games at 7 pm, while they empty out the place of those who did not sign up for the dessert party.

Dessert party has begun. We are still doing pin trading games, but also gorging on strawberry shortcake, cobblers, cupcakes, and other delicacies. We also have unlimited supply of Mickey premium and other bar ice creams.

I am fully stuffed now. Am sitting down in the pin trading area and chatting with other pin traders, and generally having a good down time. We should hear an announcement soon on when we will be escorted to our Illuminations viewing area.

Will post pics of the dessert later.

This is a bit out of sequence, but while waiting to walk over for the illumination viewing, I thought I post the photos from our meal at Kouzzina last night. Everyone generally thought the food was quite good.

Here is a pic of the open kitchen. It was fascinating to watch since periodically, there were flames coming out of various pans being cooked.

This is their seasonal vegetables salad and was quite yummy.

I had the fisherman stew. It reminds me of a ciopinno, but with less of a bite.

Everyone said that they would come back here for another dinner.

A few more pics from yesterday's pin event.

The ring master and his assistant enjoying a meet and greet.

He also came over to the pin trading area right by my table.

We also had a couple of the trapeze act at he event.

As part of the dessert party, we got a special viewing area for illuminations. This year it was at the pavilion by France.

It was a terrific end to the event. We are not involved in the vinylmation event today, so we will be doing other stuff than the rest of our group. We plan on meeting coreyp and his new bride for lunch today at the Turf Club at SSR. This is ahead of the illumination cruise that we will be doing with them tomorrow evening. Should be a fun time.

Yes we are. It might get even better even with the gloomy, rainy weather right now.

We are at the Carriage House at SSR waiting for coreyp. They are still on the bus heading this way. Hope they don't get wet getting from the bus stop to the Carriage House.

We had a lovely lunch with coreyp and his wife. We then spent some time window shopping at downtown Disney.

We are now at MK doing attractions and playing Sorcerer of the magic kingdom. We have extra magic hours tonight.

We will be spending a lazy morning at our resort. We will decide later this morning on what to do based on the weather. If it is going to be rainy, DHS. If not so, it will be DAK.

Tonight, we will join coreyp and his wife for the Illumination cruise. We hope the weather holds up.

So glad to hear you like Kouzzina, I have it in our list to try on our next trip when we stay at the Boardwalk. The pin event looks like a blast...have fun on your Illuminations cruise tonight!

We certainly had a lot of fun worth the illuminations cruise. I didn't take that many photos because we were on a moving vessel at night, and I also wanted to just enjoy the moment and the company.

Here we are in the lobby of the Yacht Club waiting for the time we had to walk over to the marina.

This is a snap shot of the view across the lagoon from the marina.

The cruise was very relaxing and enjoyable. No need to walk around looking for a good spot way ahead of time. You get snacks and refreshments and a tour of the area before hand. Our boat captain also gave us quite a bit of info about the show, among other things. It also helped that he was very funny. Thanks Scott!!

This is our group photo after the cruise.

I just want to say congratulations and thank you to coreyp and his wife for having us celebrate their wonderful occasion with them on this cruise. They make a terrific couple and we hope to get to meet up with them again.
