Disney Partners with Vera Bradley on a New Colletcion

Disney fashionistas have another reason to squeal in delight with the announcement yesterday on the Disney Parks Blog that Disney is partnering with Vera Bradley to release a collection of quilted cotton duffel bags, totes, cosmetic bags and more incorporating Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse into Bradley's familiar bright and colorful style.

2014 Disney Parks Dated Logo Revealed

A few week ago I shared a Limited Time Magic Contest being run by Disney to pick the dated logo that would be used in the 2014 promotions. The majority of our forum readers has great affection for the Mary Blair inspired design that depicted a colorful, modern, stylized castle. 'Limited Time Magic' Planned for Disney Parks in 2013

Got plans to visit Walt Disney World in 2013? You may want to take note of this: Disney recently announced (with a huge ice castle in New York City's Time Square) they will be adding something called "Limited Time Magic" to their parks next year. Disney describes this new bit of magic as "unexpected experiences with an extra sprinkle of Pixie Dust . . . that'll appear, then disappear when the next debuts."

'Magic Band' on the Horizon for Disney Tickets?

Could an electronic wristband that would replace paper tickets at Disney parks be in the works? Possibly, according to a Disney filing with the Federal Communications Commission.

The report, filed by Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts, is for a "radio-frequency wrist band." The name given to the device on the cover letter sent to the FCC by Disney is "Magic Band."

The "Magic Band" is described in the FCC filing as follows:
