Four Disney World Resort Hotels to Allow Dogs to Stay in Rooms

Four Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are part of a new pilot program that allows guests to bring their dogs to stay with them in the hotel rooms. This new program allows up to two dogs per room for an additional nightly fee. The hotels are: Yacht Club, Art of Animation, Port Orleans Riverside, and Fort Wilderness.

Several Walt Disney World Resort Hotels Named Best for Families by Trip Advisor

The online travel site Trip Advisor has announced its 2015 Traveler's Choice Awards and five Walt Disney World Resort Hotels have been named to the list of the Top 25 Hotels for Families in the United States. The hotels named to the list include a value resort, a moderate resort, and three deluxe resorts.

Free Dining Announced for Select Dates this Fall at Walt Disney World

It's that time of year again! Free Dining has been announced for select dates in September, October, November, and December at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Currently the offer is only available for Disney Visa cardholders, but it is expected to open to the general public on or around May 7!

The travel dates for this round of Free Dining are: August 31 - October 3; October 26 - November 1; November 9 - 20; and December 12 - 23.

Square footage isn't something everyone has to worry about when picking a hotel room, but when you're spending a week living in one room with folks, it probably should be. I often hear "we won't be in our room very much" as a justification for staying at the Value Resorts. If you are traveling as adults alone, or have a single small child, this can work really well. However - as your kids grow, or if you are sharing a room with friends or family, nerves can fray when you don't have enough space.

It's that time of year when everyone is making a list and checking it twice. Currently I have a lot of lists, but my Disney Bucket List is a work in progress. I've been visiting the Walt Disney World Resort since I was a wee little one (way back in 1974) and I'll admit that there are many, many things I have yet to experience at Disney World. A few years ago, after a family vacation, I decided to start writing down things I wanted to do on future visits. I suppose one could say I'm starting my Disney Bucket List.
