Spelling Bee Winner Headed to Disney World to Celebrate Win

You just won the Scripps National Spelling Bee, what are you going to do next? Well, if you're 13-year-old winner Arvind Mahankali, you're going to Disney World.

Arvind won the spelling bee on May 30 after correctly spelling "knaidel" - which is a Yiddish term of German origin that means dumpling (just in case you were wondering). After being named the winner, Arvind told his parents he wanted to go to Disney World to celebrate.

Searching for the Winnie the Pooh ‘Storyteller of the Year’

Earlier this week, Disney Consumer Products launched a nationwide search for their Winnie the Pooh "Storyteller of the Year." The contest celebrates parents and guardians who use storytelling to teach life lessons and foster their child's creativity.

2014 Disney Parks Dated Logo Revealed

A few week ago I shared a Limited Time Magic Contest being run by Disney to pick the dated logo that would be used in the 2014 promotions. The majority of our forum readers has great affection for the Mary Blair inspired design that depicted a colorful, modern, stylized castle. Rachel Booth Wins 2013 Princess 1/2 Marathon

More than 26,000 runners lined up in the dark hours of the morning to participate in the 2013 Princess 1/2 Marathon. A mostly female field came from 34 different countries to share in this amazing and memorable 5th Anniversary race. The youngest runner in the field was a youthful 14 years old; the oldest a spritely 98.
