D23 News: Disney Announces Live-Action Movie Slate at the D23 Expo

At last weekend's D23 Expo the upcoming film slates for Disney, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm were presented. Some of the films highlighted in the presentation included Star Wars: The Last Jedi, A Wrinkle in Time, Avengers: Infinity War, and more!

After months of waiting the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is finally open at the Magic Kingdom. The restaurant was in "soft opening" since December 13 but today is the official opening day. The Skipper Canteen is located in Adventureland.

Jingle Cruise Returns to the Magic Kingdom for the Holiday Season

The holiday season is officially underway at the Magic Kingdom and once again the Jungle Cruise has been transformed into the Jingle Cruise. The fan favorite attraction has been transformed for the holiday season for the past couple of years thanks to homesick Skipper who want to celebrate the holidays.

There is some exciting restaurant news to report! If the rumors are true (and we hope they are), there just might be a new Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. The rumored spot would be located at the Adventureland Veranda, right next to the new location of the Sunshine Tree Terrace.

More Than 1,000 Original Disneyland Items Headed to Auction this Month

Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and fans of the resort have a chance to bid on more than 1,000 original collectibles at the end of this month. The items headed to the auction block include cast member costumes, tickets, blueprints from the park, and even a skeleton from the original Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

Dapper Dans Help Celebrate Southwest Airline’s First Non-Stop Dallas to Orlando Flight from Love Field

The Dapper Dans, the famous barbershop quartet from the Magic Kingdom, helped make a recent flight from Dallas to Orlando a bit more magical.

To celebrate Southwest Airline's first non-stop flight from Dallas' Love Field to Orlando International Airport, the quartet provided in-flight entertainment.

On October 13 at Flight #887 was departing Love Field, Jungle Cruise Skipper "Jungle Jane" made the flight announcements and during the flight the passengers were served Mickey Mouse-shaped treats.

Jungle Cruise to be Transformed into the Jingle Cruise for the Holidays

The Magic Kingdom's Jungle Cruise is once again getting a holiday makeover.

Last year marked the first time the popular attraction went through a holiday transformation. This year, starting in November, the Jungle Cruise will become the "Jingle Cruise" for the winter holiday season.

The Jungle Cruise boats will be renamed with holiday-themed names, the queue and the boathouse will be transformed with holiday decorations, and the Skipper's jokes will take on a holiday theme as well.

Disney Centerpiece One of the Six New Boutiques Opening Inside the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney

The Marketplace Co-Op is scheduled to open later this spring in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, and one of the boutiques guests will find inside is Disney Centerpiece.

The Co-Op is billed as a "testing laboratory" for Disney merchandise and will feature six different boutiques including Beautifully Disney, Cherry Tree Lane, D-Tech on Demand, The Trophy Room, and Zoey and Pickles.
