Discovering Foodie Snack Surprises..

Ok, this is just my fun thread..Last year we tried some new snacks or treats that we've never tried before..Example the Zebra Dome ( didn't do it for us ) The school bread from Norway ( kinda enjoyed it ) But the one that we all thought was awesome was the Cronut eek Wow!..Never tried it before and it was a huge surprise to us how good it tasted...So what have you discovered in the parks that surprised you how good it was.?

I love those samosa things in AK at that food cart in Asia, I will never remember its name. Great for a snack or a very light lunch.

Egg rolls from Joy of Tea in Epcot's China area are also awesome. I know I've raved about them many times.

Although we usually get them for lunch or dinner, the corn dog nuggets at Casey's in MK would make a good snack for one person with a healthy appetite or two people sharing them.

Throw me in on the Cronut crew! I love those things.... We have a place here with them and it tastes the same. I really need to head to Mt Pleasant...

Where do you get the Carrott Cake Thingies? Hollywood Studios, but which stand or shop? Love the sound of those and always need a snack for the boat ride.

The best carrot cake cupcake I've ever had was at HS. It was during last year's Frozen summer and it was the Olaf cupcake. Oh my goodness. I could have eaten 5 of them (and then been very sick).

You can also get them at Sweet Spells, which is right beside Starring Rolls Cafe - that's where Ken goes to get his Carrot Cake Cookie fix. biggrin

Sweet Spells? I've never heard of that.... is it just sweets as the name implies? A walk up window or an actual store?

I was looking thru my pics and came across this which was DELICIOUS!!! I forgot all about it but now I must have another one! It's from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway. It's the Troll Horn (Cloudberry Jam with Whipped Cream in a Crispy Pastry Sugar-coated Shell) The sugar on top added a little extra sweetness. The cream filling wasn't overly sweet. Although I really don't remember any "jam" maybe it's a little different in Norway?

It's an actual store at the corner of Sunset Blvd and Hollywood Blvd - it also sells Villain merchandise. I looked on a map - I believe it's actually called "Beverly Sunset".

Your post reminded me of the Viking Chocolate Mousse I had there last year.

Dole Whip!
DH loves the cinnamon almonds when he finds them.
Don't care for zebra domes either.
Mango smoothie or frozen chai tea at AK.
Also the bakery at AK has wonderful cinnamon rolls.
