Disneydoc's Spring Break PreTrip Plans

Hold the phone! I have decided in honor of my first DVC trip this spring to try some new stuff:

ADRs! Teppan Edo for dinner twice (been there before, it's my favorite place), Tusker House for lunch (my first character meal at Disney EVER), and the Brown Derby, also for a lunch. ADRs already made. Huge committment. mickey

Also have Wolfgang Puck Express on my possible list for a lunch. Tried to get BOG, but could not get an ADR for that week. Will keep trying.

More to follow!

Sounds like a great plan. Don't forget if you can't get an ADR for BOG you can still go for lunch (quick service) and then try for a dinner ADR on your next trip.

I did lunch there on my last trip. It was lovely. But I want to sit down and "be their guest." mickey

Still contemplating more ADRs....I am a kind of conservative, light eater, but want to try some new places. I need that Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake at Brown Derby, and there was a fish dish at Tusker that looks yummy.

I didn't realize you had lunch there. Or maybe you did mention it and I forgot.

You can't go wrong with the cobb salad and grapefruit cake.

Yeah for ADRs! Just a few short weeks til you're back in the World! I think I remember reading somewhere that you are only staying at AKL for part of the trip, right? Where are you staying for the other couple of days?

I have two days at Jambo, then will move offsite to a Fairfield Inn, then back to Jambo to finish out the week. I am wait listed for the 2 days in the middle, crossing fingers. I keep going on the website and finding a single day in there in another DVC resort (SSR, OKW), but not two in a row. I would not mind a split stay...I do have a few points left I could use.

I am really excited! I have a trip itinerary that I will share soon. This is the first time I have done that too, but ADRs led to doing those...

Allie, how are you feeling?

Yes, Julie, I hope we do too! If not this time, then in June for sure. We will have to meet for one of those fabulous Sounds of Summer concerts. mickey

Sounds like fun. Never been to Brown Derby because it takes 2 credits I think. What's it like?

Yes, Brown Derby is 2 credits but so worth it. It's one of my favorites.

Morning sickness is still a killer....applesauce, popsicles, plain noodles, rice, and apples with peanut butter are about all my stomach has been able to handle for the past 4-5 weeks. yuck I'm at about 10.5 weeks right now so in the home stretch of the first trimester so here's to hoping it quickly dies off after I hit that 12 week mark!

Crossing my fingers for you that you'll be able to find another onsite property for those 2 days in the middle crossfingers ....I bet that would make life a heck of a lot easier rather then moving off property for 2 days! It'll be a fabulous trip either way, though!
