Disneyworld Proposal?

Hello everyone,

I have just joined.. Loving the posts so far Smile

I am planning a trip to Disneyworld in 2014, My GF and I love Disney and one of our first holidays together was DisneyLand. Now i want to make this special by popping the question to her while in Disneyworld!

I am just trying to figure out how to go about it.

Is there people on here that have a special moment like this that they can share or give some helpful tips in planning a Disney Proposal Smile

Cheers everyone

My Brother proposed to his girlfriend in front of Cinderella Castle after a meal at Yachtsman Steakhouse and Wishes. The Cinderella Castle proposal, apparently, happens multiple times a night. So if you are looking for something uniquely special, you may want to look into some other ideas. I have nothing against the castle proposal, I think it would be grand no matter what!

I just found this, maybe it can get you thinking about some other ideas that would be special to the two of you.

welcome Jezza to our little Disney forum. If you check out trip reports on the forum you will find strummer77s engagement trip report on how he proposed to his fiancee. It is worth a look and many of us gave him ideas of how to pull this off. BTW congrats .

Hi and welcome! I love that you're proposing to you GF on you WDW trip, so romantic! Have you two been to the parks before? Is there a favorite place/ride/attraction/movie that she especially likes? Is she someone that would like a really public proposal or is she more private?

welcome Jezza and how exciting! I definitely agree that you can plan an amazing proposal at WDW...it's all about knowing what your fiance likes (more private? more public? favorite restaurant? Favorite ride?). There are so many options!!

Congratulations early of course. WDW is a wonderful place to propose. I think you an coordinate with Disney and have it in a restaurant or a few other places with photography.

Disney does weddings too Wink

Hey Guys,

Thank you so much for the comments so far! Keep them coming Smile

We have been to Disneyland in Anaheim and She has never been to Disney World so i thought what better holiday and surprise proposal than that! Wink

In terms of rides i know she loved Space Mountain but in saying that Disneyland was her first ever experience of the MAGIC that is Disney so she loved everything we did there.

I will look at all those links put up. thank you again for the assistance!

I am very very excited! I will keep you all posted on my decision making Wink

It's probably worth noting that if you call the memory Makers at Disney's Enchanted Florist that they can help you set up some really fantastic magical experiences for a cost. They're fabulous dream making professionals mickey

There are a couple of experiences that you can book through the website, or talk to someone directly to find out about creating a custom experience.
