Hi Allie and thanks for the welcome!

I've actually never stayed at BCV, but I've been admiring the resort since it opened! I remember getting the Eyes & Ears Cast Newsletter in the summer of '02 with a ginormous full-color photo of the resort and I thought it was the prettiest resort ever at Disney. (I probably still have that copy of the newsletter lying around somewhere, actually...)

The resorts I've stayed at are:

Polynesian (not my fave. everytime I come here, something always goes wrong - i think the menehune are out to get me..)
Carribbean Beach Resort
Pop Century
Bay Lake Tower
Art of Animation

I do love BLT, but I think AoA is my fave so far. Excellent food options, amazing pools and activities for my little one. Except I probably won't stay in a Little Mermaid room ever again. That walk is a pain in the you-know-what after 5 days...

Future trips I'd like to try OKW, WL, POFQ or POR, and definitely GF DVC villas!

Florence, of COURSE the characters are real! You have just been privileged to spend a little more up close time with them than the rest of us. How precious that Pooh is special to you. I have yet to meet Pooh at the World. Perhaps it is time for a little Crystal Palace magic.

Florence, you have clearly come to the right place...I think I speak for all of us that we are LOVING the wisdom and cheer you bring to this board!!

A) THANK YOU for teaching me ahead of time how to open that Japanese soda bottle...I WILL be trying one of those in June!!

B) Those pics of your BOG food were so fantastic, and I'm so thankful to you for sharing them!! I'm more excited than ever to check out that restaurant when we get back!

Haven't logged on here for a long time. I have arrived so late that I wonder if the party's over. Welcome, all newcomers, to the friendliest WDW fan site on the web. I have been to WDW only eight times (seven solo), the last in 2007, so I've never seen some of these new hotels and attractions. Hope you enjoy your time here.
