Luggage Tags :/

We are 25 days away from our daughter's graduation celebration trip! clapping I just called and made the final payment on our RO reservation yay I asked the CM about the cute luggage tags everyone has been talking about because we did not receive any with our magic bands Sad She told me it was optional whether or not you got them.....I know it is a little thing and it certainly won't impede or ruin our vacation in anyway.... but I am bummed. Really wanted the new ones. Has anyone else not gotten them? Just curious.

My daughter got them after she scheduled the Magical Express transport from the airport to WDW.

You guys flying in & have you scheduled the Magical Express shuttle ride? Need to provide them flight info, etc.

btw, congratulations on your daughters graduation!

Yes we have all of our ME things. I called again just to see what a different CM might say and I got the same response. So again... certainly won't put a damper on the trip..... just one of those things I have come to expect and now I guess I shouldn't.

I would ask them to send you the tags anyways, as a Disney souvenir.

How would they know/collect your suitcases if they weren't uniquely identifiable with these Disney tags at the airport, would they go through every single bags id tag to find it's passengers luggage?

Something does not seems right.

Anyways, as you said don't let this damper this special & important celebration Grade .

We got them. At first I did not think that we had, but there were under the Magic Bands. I did not know that.

Same as Nikkimouse we thought we didn't get any but surprise they were under our magic bands. I never look under our bands so thank goodness DH thought to look there. I really wanted the new ones and thought we didn't get them.

The yellow paper tags are what identify the ME. I think Ms. Mouse is taking about the fun tags they give you to put your info on in case the luggage gets lost. Those aren't required for ME.

Sorry to hear that Ms. Mouse! That seems strange to me that they would randomly send to some and not others. We've never not gotten the luggage tags sent out to us.

Ohhh, thanks Allie. I live a couple of hours away from WDW and have never had a need or requested those tags. Magic bands on the other hand, we have those all over the house Nerd

Ms. Mouse you're not staying DVC are you? The powers that be have decided that we're not cool enough for luggage tags. I used to not care until my old luggage tags from our first onsite trip were ruthlessly destroyed by the airport baggage handlers. sad I'm hoping that when I get my MagicBand for the trip that our gymnastics team is doing in February, I'll get a new luggage tags since that is a cash reservation! clapping

I think it's funny that they'll hand MagicBands to us like candy but they don't include luggage tags. I feel like MagicBands PROBABLY cost more to make.

No we are not DVC... Oh how I wish we were! It's all OK. I decided I will just buy some Disney ones from somewhere around here. I know they carry some cute ones at the resort shops if I don't find any here.
