Our last minute Disney weekend

So my very sweet hubby surprised me with a Disney weekend for my birthday I thought we were going to Tampa but nope, once we were on the road he told me where we were really going I thought we were done with our Disney weekends until September so I am so excited!

We are at Animal Kingdom right now. So far we've done some pin trading, checked out the new Harambe Market and we've ridden EE twice! Next up is Finding Nemo. Tonight we are going to graze our way around the WS and ride Test Track.

Tomorrow is MK and I was even able to snag a BOG lunch reservation!

If anyone uses the DAS card they have just changed the system to Magic Bands and MDE only. No more paper card. We've used it and it is so much more convenient!

Our dinner began with strawberry margaritas from Mexico and BBQ pork buns from China.

Our second stop was karamel kuche in Germany. OMG do I love this place. I got a milk chocolate caramel with sea salt and DH got a regular milk chocolate caramel. After one bite he declared that if they ever start serving warm caramels he is quitting his job, we are moving to Orlando and coming to Disney everyday for a caramel. Come on warm caramels!!!!

Had an awesome day!!! Ended the night with test track. Here's a picture of our insane car that we designed, but we came in first for our car and just 2 points behind the top score of the day Love my hubby for this present.

Tomorrow we are going to try REALLY hard to get up in time to see our first ever welcome show at MK. Then it's HM, lunch at Be Our Guest followed by 7DMT.

Thank you! I've never had a weekend at Disney that was a complete surprise. This was my 40th so he wanted to do something special, and he picked the perfect gift!!!

I hope you can pull off a surprise trip for Scrappy someday. But that amazing Grand 1 surprise you gave her is going to be pretty hard to top

it is a beautiful day at Magic Kingdom! A private cooperation rented out MK starting at 6pm and there is hardly anyone here
In all our visits, We have never seen it this empty

Next up lunch at BOG.

Lunch was delicious! It was our best meal yet at BOG. DH had the braised pork with mashed potatoes and green beans and a side of fries. I had the turkey sandwich with fries and we split a Master's cupcake for dessert. DH said the pork was melt in your mouth and he loved everything else too. I ate about half his green beans, they're so good.

My sandwich was wonderful. The baguette was so soft and fresh. There was so much turkey on the sandwich it was almost hard to eat, but don't worry I managed just fine

just trying to catch up on everybodys report and at 9am UK time that BOG meal was just what I needed!!!!!!

you have the best hubby!!!!! I would love to be surprised with a trip but i think the 9 hour flight would give it away!!!!

I would think after a few hours on the plane, you'd probably figure it out I Figured it out about 1 1/2 hours away from Disney when we didn't take the exit we were supposed to take. I Normally hate surprises but this was an awesome surprise!
