This unassuming little coffee booth at Disney's Boardwalk Inn has a secret; it's really a great spot to grab a beer, wine, or specialty margaritas. So if you're strolling the shores of Crescent Lake wishing you had a cocktail in your hand, keep your eyes open for Boardwalk Joe's.
For a fun fall cocktail try the specialty here, a Caramel Apple Frozen Margarita. This unique and popular selling drink is made with a frozen Boo Ya premium silver tequila, apple pucker, and sweet and sour mix topping a plentiful pour of caramel syrup. Our advise; do your best to mix it all together before drinking so that you can get both of the flavors together. Unmixed, the crazy tart apple and the sweet syrup are a little much.
Plentiful red metal tables and chairs line the water's edge where you can sit and chat while enjoying your drink. It's a great spot to sit back and watch the water taxis ferrying guests to and from their destinations. Whether you visit late night or mid day, it's a pleasant spot to take a break. If you want a bit to nosh Boardwalk Joe's also has hot pretzels and Roasted Almonds or Pecans on the menu.
If you headed to Boardwalk Joe's for a cup of coffee, they can oblige you too, though it seems like almost an afterthought despite all appearances. Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Espresso, Cappuccino and Lattes are all available. You can add shots of flavor for $.50.
