BoardWalk Bakery Reopens at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

After a several months long refurbishment, the BoardWalk Bakery at Disney's BoardWalk Inn has finally reopened! And it's bigger and better than before.

Boardwalk Bakery Closed For Refurbishment

A heads up to those of you whose Disney plans include Disney's BoardWalk Inn: The Boardwalk Bakery will be closed for a major refurbishment soon.

The bakery, which is set to be closed as of January 6, is undergoing a transformation that's said to include a new entrance way, a new queue and the addition of a new refillable mug station. In addition, the bakery's menu will be expanded to include more grub besides baked goods (think sandwiches, soups and salads).

Weekly DVC Member Events at Walt Disney World

For a long time now the Disney Vacation Club has offered it's members a fun weekly event at Walt Disney World called Welcome Home Wednesday at Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Every Wednesdays inside the Atlantic Dance Hall from 2-3 p.m. Members gather together for a little fun, while they get to learn the lastest information about what's going on in DVC.

Step into Disney's BoardWalk Inn and be transported to Atlantic City in the 1940s. This beautiful and iconic Disney resort is located within the Epcot resort area and is a favorite among many Disney visitors.

The Bellevue Lounge

One of the many "rare finds" at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Resort, the Bellevue Lounge is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink after a long day at the parks. The Bellevue Lounge is tucked away right off the main lobby. If you can't find it just ask one of the Cast Members and they will point you in the right direction.

The Bellevue Lounge is modeled after a 1930s sitting room and features board games and working radios playing shows from eras past. A light breakfast can be found here in addition to drinks during the evening hours.

Boardwalk Inn Carousel

Disney's Boardwalk Inn has plenty of "rare finds," including a beautiful scale model carousel located front and center in the entryway of the resort.
