This amazing party is thrown twice a day every Sunday at the world renown House of Blues.

The atmosphere at this uniquely designed somewhat "ramshackle" tin style building is colorful and eclectic. It's decorated with found-object art, bright mosaics, and tributes to some legendary blues greats. The feeling I experience when walking into the House of Blues can best be summed up as "electric voodoo." Seating here is offered at both tables and wooden booths. Disney Food Blog says of the House "indoor, B.B. Blues Bar dominates the far end of the main dining room giving it a none-too-subtle 'altar' feeling."

The vast menu served up at the Sunday Gospel Brunch offers a wide variety of southern classics like: Creole Chicken, Jambalaya, Cornmeal Crusted Catfish, Delta Red Beans & Rice, Chilled Prawns with Cocktail Sauce, Ceasar Bacon Creole Potato Salad, Cheese Grits, Sausage Biscuits and Country Gravy, with Fresh Baked Corn Muffins and Turnip Greens. For members of your party looking for some more traditional brunch fare, they offer Fresh Pastries, Croissants, Muffins, Assorted Fresh Fruit, Asparagus Salad, Waffles Made to Order, and Omelette Station, Roast Top Round of Beef, and an awesome Honey Baked Ham. If you still have some room after all that "good eatin" you can move on to the decadent desserts like Key Lime Pie, Pecan Squares, Apple Cobbler, and a White Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding not to be missed.

We went there for my Mom's retirement (she was a music teacher), and we had a blast. If you are a believer and want a nice church experience on a Sunday, this is for sure the way to go. We left very full, but in the spirit. Believe me, the singers well leave you with a true church experience.
