There was quite a bit of exciting news coming out of Walt Disney World this week and some of that news had to do with food. Not only do we have an opening date for Tiffins at Disney's Animal Kingdom but we also have news about a few new spots at Disney Springs. Read on to find out more!
Tiffins, the signature restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom, is schedule to open for lunch and dinner on Memorial Day Weekend. Information on Advance Dining Reservations will be released on May 20, but you won't need ADRs to visit the Nomad Lounge adjacent to Tiffins.
The menu at Tiffins will feature globally-inspired dishes such as Berbere-Spiced Lamb Chop with Mustard Greens (Africa), Berkshire Pork Tenderloin with Huitlacoche Tamale (South America), and Miso-Glazed Black Cod with Forbidden Rice (Asia).
Over at Disney Springs there are a few new kiosks that we can't wait to visit.
The Daily Poutine was announced by Disney this week and it'll be serving up Poutine but with a twist.
Guests will be able to enjoy the traditional fries with beef gravy and cheese curds but there will also be a Latin version with fried yucca topped with black beans, pulled pork, and queso fresco; and an Italian version with Bocconcino mozzarella and Bolognese sauce. A French version will feature mushroom sauce and gruyere cheese.
B.B. Wolf's Sausage Co. will be serving a variety of artisan sausages including a Reuben sausage, Portuguese sausage, Bavarian sausage sandwich, and sweet hot sausage.
And finally, AristoCrepes will be offering savory and sweet crepe creations.
The Daily Poutine and B.B. Wolf's Sausage Co are scheduled to open May 15 while AristoCrepes is set to open May 22.
