Fantasyland Expansion Continues as Beast's Castle Emerges
It's pretty well known Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom is undergoing a pretty hefty expansion that will take some time to complete. Work is going strong as is evidenced by the sneak peek of the Beast's castle released this week on the Disney Parks Blog. Currently, the castle is under construction and being pieced together.
The Beast's castle will eventually adorn the Be Our Guest Restaurant. With an anticpated opening in 2012, the "Beauty and the Beast" inspired restaurant will offer dining in the castle's ballroom, gallery and a "mysterious west-wing." To either side of the castle will be Gaston's Tavern, a gift shop and Belle's father's cottage.
It is said that the construction of the castle represents a "milestone" in the expansion of Fantasyland. The expanded Fantasyland is set to open in stages starting in late 2012.

I agree, this looks so neat! As a mom who spent a ton of time in line for Dumbo on our past October trip, I'm most excited about the upgrades & expansions done to that ride!
