Northern Bloom Outdoor Kitchen At The 2017 Epcot International Flower And Garden Festival

A new addition to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival this year, Northern Bloom Outdoor Kitchen takes a place amongst festival favorites. Located in the Canada Pavilion, Northern Bloom offers hearty mini entrees and one truly decadent dessert along with plenty of beer.

Just to the side of the Northern Bloom Outdoor Kitchen are the adorable Bambi and Friends topiary. They seem right at home at the nestled near the entrance to the Canada Pavilions beautiful Victoria Gardens.

Discriminating Palates Will Enjoy Fantastic Fare At Northern Bloom

I was thrilled with the food at this booth, so much so, I put my camera down so I could focus on each and every bite. My husband had the scallops and they must have been amazing because he was not sharing and they were gone in a heartbeat.

My choice, the beef tips, were tender and perfectly seasoned, covered in a rich, silky mushroom bordelaise sauce. This is all tucked in next to some of the best whipped potatoes ever. I completely fell in love with the Northern Bloom mash. The garden vegetable in my portion was a little disappointing, almost like an after thought just to make the dish fit into the festival theme; yet everything else was so heavenly I just didn't care.


Beef Tenderloin Tips, Mushroom Bordelaise Sauce, And Whipped Potatoes

The Nanaimo Bar Trifle is Disney's take on a classic Canadian Dessert named after the city of Nanaimo, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. The spoonable trifle is a layer smooth, silky custard flavored covered that's been covered in dark melted chocolate and topped with wafer crumbs. This show stopper is sinfully rich. You'll either need to share because more than a bite may be just too much, or you'll hoard it all for yourself, there is no in between.
