Epcot was one of Walt Disney's original visions. Originally standing for the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, it was actually intended to be much more of the basis for Walt Disney World than the Magic Kingdom. Eventually however his initial vision proved too grand to be carried out and it became the less expansive park that you see today.

What To Do on a “No Kids” Day at Epcot

On the few occasions when my husband and I have visited the Magic Kingdom without the kids we always feel a little guilty. But, when we're at Epcot without the kids there is less guilt and a little more "Hey! We're having a grown up day!" That means no waiting in line to meet the characters, no whining about sore feet, and most importantly we can visit attractions WE want to see.

Imagine and Invent at Innoventions East and West at Epcot

Even on the best-planned days at Epcot, it's bound to happen - the kids will inevitably whine about being bored. They're tired of waiting in the queues for rides and it's hot and you need to find something "new" to do. And you need to find it fast.

This is when you make a stop at Innoventions East and West, the two pavilions to the left and right of the back of Spaceship Earth where kids of all ages can try their hand at interactive games and exhibits.

Disney Parks Ticket Prices Increase June 2, 2013

Beginning tomorrow, June 2, 2013 tickets to Disney's Florida and California theme parks will have new pricing. For the first time, a one day Park Ticket to the Magic Kingdom (at $95) costs more than a one day Park Ticket to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom (each at $90). That means that one day at the Magic Kingdom ticket is a full $6 more than if was last year. The price increase, though sudden, does not come as that much of a surprise as the last ticket price increase occurred in June of 2012.

Sea Breeze Point at Disney's Boardwalk is a Disney Fairytale Weddings venue that filled with all the charm of 1940s American Boardwalk. A spacious gazebo setting on the shore of the sparkling Crescent Lake where a manicured garden, white trellises and weathered boards lend to a romantic atmosphere. It's no wonder with venues like this Disney is considered that one of America's leading wedding destinations.

Grey Goose and Grand Marnier Slushes in France

Say you're looking for a cold adult beverage in Epcot and beer isn't your favorite and the margaritas have too much tequila for your taste. You should definitely head to France and order a Grey Goose Citron Lemonade Slush or the Grand Marnier Orange Slush.

These incredible frozen concoctions can be found at the Les Vins des Chefs de France kiosk, located across from Chefs de France. And they're two of the most popular drinks at Epcot. One sip and you'll instantly know why.

Take Flight over California on Soarin’ at Epcot's The Land

It's one of those must-do-and-I-will-run-to-get-FastPasses rides. A visit to Epcot is just not complete until you've had a chance to ride at least once. OK, maybe twice. And then there's the fact that guests actually applaud at the end of each flight. Yes, I'm talking about Soarin'.
