Top 5 romantic spots in the Magic Kingdom

Romance at Disney World. It's a beautiful thing, isn't it? When I think of romance at WDW, I think of the Magic Kingdom. It's all so magical! But what are the most romantic spots in the Magic Kingdom? Here's our top picks.

5. Haunted Mansion: Ooooh, scary! Grab on to your loved one and shriek to your heart's content. I'm willing to bet many a teenage couple have snuck some makeout sessions in a Doom Buggy.

4. Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover: Move about Tomorrowland in a vehicle built for two. People-watch, cuddle up, and sneak a kiss when you go inside Space Mountain.

3. Cinderella's Royal Table: Many a special marriage proposal has taken place at the restaurant in the castle. There's even a special package that can be booked called A Royal Engagement that includes a glass slipper etched in rose petals and a special chocolate slipper dessert! Talk about Prince Charming!

2. Astro Orbiter: Soar above the Magic Kingdom at night in your rocket ship of love, and if you can time it right -- during Wishes. It's a nostalgic ride that will make an adult couple feel like kids again.

1.Plaza Rose Garden: Situated in front of Cinderella Castle, the Plaza Rose Garden is a popular spot for engagements, photo ops -- and it's prime viewing for Wishes. Grab your sweetie and stroll on through, stealing a kiss or two.

I think I'd have to agree with Haunted Mansion and TTA for sure! It's always fun to sneak a smooch in the Doom Buggy!

And the rose garden at the start of wishes is my #1 romantic spot - that's truly magical!

Great column, thanks Kristen!
